Support: Scholarship
Jasmin S.

I didn’t know much about Computer Numerical Control (CNC) when I started—just that a close friend believed I’d love it. They saw something in me I hadn’t fully seen in myself yet. From the moment I turned my first block of metal into a functional part, something clicked. I wasn’t just learning a trade—I was creating with purpose. That moment of transformation? I felt it in my gut. I belonged here.
But getting to this point hasn’t been easy. Financial stress has been a constant weight. I’ve had to choose between textbooks and groceries, rest and overtime. Some days, I questioned whether I could keep going. But I reminded myself why I started—and each time I bring home a project I built with my own hands, I feel that pride rise up again. This is what resilience looks like.
Now, with this scholarship in hand, my dreams feel even more within reach. I plan to become a CNC Programmer at Delta and eventually pursue my Mechanical Engineering degree. I want to build, to lead, to inspire—and to give others the same belief I was once given.
If I could say one thing to the donor, it would be thank you for your compassion. You showed incredible kindness to a stranger in need, and I can’t thank you enough. Your generosity proves that good people still exist in this world. Please continue to be the compassionate, kind-hearted person you are—only great things will come your way. Once again, thank you so much!
