At nearly 40, I returned to school to pursue a degree in Manufacturing Technology鈥攂alancing work, family, and faith while chasing a future built on purpose and precision.

What sparked it? A lifelong fascination with how things are made鈥攈ow raw materials transform into something functional and beautiful through technology and craftsmanship. I鈥檝e always loved solving technical problems and working with my hands, and now I鈥檓 turning that passion into a career.

I carry with me the wisdom of Mrs. Johnson, my high school science teacher, who taught us not just facts, but how to think, how to believe in ourselves, and how to keep asking the right questions. I sing in my church choir, play on a kickball team, and serve on the STEAM team at work鈥攂ut this journey is one of the hardest and most meaningful things I鈥檝e taken on.
