I have always been fascinated by the body鈥檚 ability to heal. That belief became deeply personal when just two acupuncture treatments ended the lower back pain I woke up with every morning. When the pain never returned, I knew my life had changed.

As an Associate of Science major, that moment became my turning point. It confirmed my calling to study Oriental medicine and pursue a Master鈥檚 degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine鈥攕o I can help others experience the same healing and relief.

My journey has included raising three children on a limited income, navigating anxiety and depression, and overcoming verbal abuse. Through spiritual growth, resilience, and determination, I discovered an inner strength I didn鈥檛 know I had. Guided by my father鈥檚 example of excellence, kindness, and perseverance, I continue moving forward even when the path is difficult.

After earning my Associate of Science degree, I plan to attend the Dragon Rises School of Oriental Medicine. Because of your generosity, I no longer have to choose between tuition and groceries. Your support removes barriers, restores hope, and invests in the many lives I will one day help heal.
